The forests of Cumbria will come alive once again for the Grizedale Stages Rally, taking place on Saturday 6 December 2025.

Organised by Furness District Motor Club and headquartered at Skelwith Fold near Ambleside, this event offers crews a fabulous end-to-year gravel challenge in the heart of the English Lakes.

With around 44 miles of competitive forest stages carved through the iconic Grizedale Forest, the rally combines flowing woodland roads, variable terrain and a beautiful environment for both competitors and spectators.

As the final round of the SG Petch ANECCC Stage Rally Championship, the Grizedale Stages Rally gives registered competitors a last opportunity to score points and showcase their pace on the gravel. The championship has enjoyed strong support throughout the year, with committed crews representing clubs from across the region, and Grizedale provides a fitting stage for one more competitive push. It is a chance for drivers and co drivers to finish the season on a high.

Whether you’re chasing championship points or enjoying the camaraderie of a dedicated club event, Grizedale provides a rewarding day out.

Spectators are welcome and car-park tickets are on sale via the event website grizedalestages.co.uk

Volunteers remain an essential part of any successful rally and Furness District Motor Club welcomes marshals, radio crews, timekeepers and support officials to register for the event-day. It’s a great chance to be part of a professional but friendly rally environment.

The Grizedale Stages Rally is one of the last big gravel showdowns of the year. We look forward to seeing drivers, crews, clubs, marshals and spectators join together in Cumbria for what promises to be an outstanding event.
